Overview
The Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (PB-B.Sc.) is a two-year undergraduate programme prepares students to take independent decisions in nursing situations and play a major role in treating patients with care and compassion. The students acquire both surgical and non-surgical nursing skills that prepare them for varied real-world clinical and hospital settings.
Objective
Completion of two year Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing undergraduate programme student will be able to:
- The program gets ready understudies to take autonomous choices in nursing circumstances and assume a significant part in treating patients with care and empathy.
- Students procure both surgical and non-surgical nursing abilities that set them up for differed genuine world clinical and hospital settings.
- Under this program, look over their figuring out how to give total clinical consideration to the patients.
- Successful graduates of the course are hired in nursing educational institutions, fields of clinical nursing and public health nursing in community settings.
- Developing professional competency in providing holistic nursing care
- Creating evidence based practice through research in nursing profession.
- Demonstrate proficiency in written, verbal and digital skills at individual and collaborative levels.
- Utilize information, communication and other relevant technologies effectively.
- Participate effectively as members of the health team in health care delivery system.
- Practice within the framework of code of ethics, professional conduct and acceptable standards of nursing practice within the legal boundaries.
- Apply critical thinking skills and professional decision making required for basic and advance practice.
Eligibility
The eligibility criteria required for applying to Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (PB-B.Sc.) course is:
- 10+2 with GNM

Documents required while submitting application:
Applicants are required to attach following documents with the application form:
- Mark sheet of Class X and XII.
- GNM Diploma certificate and registration certificate
- Birth certificate or School leaving certificate
- ID proof (passport/ration card)
- Domicile certificate
- Aadhar card
NOTE: Applicants are required to carry original documents along with the photocopies while submitting the application forms for verification. All documents should be attested by the gazetted officer or any other authorized officials. They should also carry 3 passport size photographs.
